With the deployable shields you could put them on points to give your team a chance to move in. Like on Hanamura, put a shield or two down at the front door. Or on push the cart missions just put shields on the cart.

Yeah that does suck about her being support and other teammates not seeing the 'no support' tip. She's more of a builder imo but I can see why they chose to categorize her as support. Still love playing her tho and have gotten many potg's. You just have to utilize everything she offers. If your ults ready, stop what you're doing and deploy that shit. Safety over convenience with teleport placement. Her orbs are excellent against Reinhardt's sheild, anyone behind it, and choke points as long as you keep spamming and shut down a flank with all 6 turrets.

There is something for final point defense, it's called the entire fucking rest of the team. Her job is to be a menace and place annoying turrets that draw the attention of enemies so you can shoot them in the ass. When you get multiple turrets on somebody, they slow to a crawl and become a fucking roast turkey for the pickings, and if you don't take that leg then fuck you, just starve.
Also her teleporter is a great way to keep up the pressure on final, just shove it near the cap in some height advantage area and watch as you fuck the enemy team's mouth as they scurry about trying to figure out where people are coming from.
Also her alt fire shoots through Rein shields, and most people are too fucking stupid to move out of the way because "I'm so fucking safe behind this shield as long as no monkey trouble comes about", then wham, shot in the face.
