The game is fine. I don't give a shit, the biggest problem is how many bugs there are (It's a port, what more can you fucking expect). It's the fact that 505 is charging higher for the 3DS release, when it's the same as Mobile.
So how is console versions? Is a controller actually feasible? I have the game on PC, but I tend to not play many games on PC due to 4chan and watching shit. On consoles I don't get distracted so I can play games for hours on end no problem.

Console is fun. There's a few bugs that really mess it up, but other than that it's nice. The console controls aren't actually that bad once you get used to them. If you want, though, PC actually was patched to have console controller support which is even better.

The controller works surprisingly well. The main issue with the game is that the menus are now clunky as hell without a mouse, but at least in my opinion combat is far superior on the console.

The 3DS version made Terraria mildly popular in Japan. More nips bought Terraria on the 3DS and Wii U than any other platform. The extra cost is the price we have to pay for more, better porn

Hell, I actually prefer going through menus with a controller. The main thing I'm probably concerned with is how it affects targeting specific blocks, along with placing them. Sometimes you need to put up a wall real fucking fast in order to stay alive.
Also, I've never done multiplayer either. How alive is it on PC/PS4? Also, should you get to a certain point with your character before you jump into multiplayer?
