She's very much a team character and she won't do much on her own, except maybe hold an objective against bad players. If the enemy team has a Roadhog, shield your teammates when they get hooked. You save their asses and most of the time it's a free charge. Junkrat in the enemy team? Activate the shield and step into a grenade. Make sure to inform your teammates about your ultimate status, everybody loves using their ult together with Zarya's

I only play on console so aiming is a bitch, I end up playing mostly support which are a lot of fun, fortunately. I like to think that, since I can't aim worth shit, I might as well help the guys who can.
Genji isn't much of an issue when it comes to aiming and hitting things but I can't do any cool shit with him so my team just ends up carrying me most of the time when I pick him. When it gets tough, I just switch to Soldier 76 and try to clean up my mess since I'm not awful with him.

I'll preface this by saying that Winston must know where every single individual healthpack is. A healer should never be coming to you, you're always going to them
Hanamura First Point is easy to cheese if they pick the right heros jump through the hole go to point 99% of the time theyll abandon the door letting your team go through in which point you just hop away to the health pack on the ledge and hop on the roof rinse repeat
Unless you get the cheese rush he's very weak on the second point at that point zarya rein is generally a better pick
Temple of Anubis
Same with Hana you can jump past their team if you're patient. get to the top ledge on the right with the health pack pick off any snipers. Drop on the point pull their defense back. This works extremely well with a tracer. Second point is pure garbage for winston unless they have all squishies.
Volskaya Industries
Same with Anubis you can cheese with point with tracer on the left ledge(Hop you have to float for 1~ second and then hit shift or you hit the top and die) this would be alot easier to explain with pictures.
I'm still mixed on the second point part of me says its decent however the healthpack placement makes it extremely awkward to harass snipers/supports that and them being huddled together makes it extremely difficult to accomplish anything.
Dorado He's good on defense and attack better on defense in my experience due to the amount of spots you can jump to and hide to harass squishes. Last point isnt great for him lack of places to hide and it being so open generally means you get popped.
Route 66 This map is good hands down for winston one of my favorites. always wait on the defense for them to push out a bit and hop behind them bubble jump out, rinse repeat. You can easily stall the first point rush a good minute. Attack is the same go for choke points and zap the shit out of them. Last spot is mixed one of those annoyingly open areas no good places to jump to.

Rein is braindead easy.
Hold up your shield to protect your damage dealers for as long as you possible can. Make sure to tell your team in chat to stay behind you as you move in front of the payload, if they're not retarded they'll follow behind you. Throw fireballs sometimes and make sure to drop your shield and wait for it to recharge (never actually let it break).
If you see a Mercy next to an enemy or someone with low mobility like Zen or a mechless D.Va just charge in and smash them. Your hammer has a deceivingly large range and can very easily 3-shot most of the cast.
In short just make good use of your shield but let it recharge when possible.

I kept fucking around with an enemy McCree player. He'd flashbang, I'd recover and heal, then immediately bust out and freeze then headshot him. I'd camp outside of their spawn point and specifically wait for him and the enemy Hanzo to come fucking around and then immediately freeze and headshot/punch them to death. God. Having no fear of McCree is great. But then again when my team is losing I like to wait outside of spawn points and irritate the enemy team with Tracer or Mei or someone like that. Anything to distract them to stop them from hitting to the payload and shitting on my team.

This map is god tier with a zenyatta on both defense and offense. Always look to be in the high places waiting for healers and snipers its extremely easy to push this map with how easy it is to jump in and out to elevated areas. All around play winston on this map everytime you can.
Hollywood
Not great on defense on the first point better once the point starts moving with all the roofs that you can hop around on and the safe health pack areas. Offense on the first point is a fat no. It oes not work at all its way too difficult to get to snipers/healers. Same with defense once the point starts moving Winston is good. The ending is alright for him on offense nothing great just alright. Bad on defense.
King's Row
I really dont like playing this map with winston. Due to the health pack locations makes things over complicated and it pulls you away from your team too much just to grab one at the first point. Look for something else on this map unless they grab a sniper.

Pre nerf boost away, Now if you botches his RTH you can easily melt him unless he pops you in the head. Just hop bubble walk back. Walk in. You can negate his entire ult by putting a bubble over him 90% of the time youll die after doing this ,however, it is worth it.
Pharah
Good pharahs will rape you bad ones just hop around on them if theyre ever in front of you just drop a bubble on them, They will kill themselves. You can ruin their day by just hopping on them all the time.
Reaper
Reaper is a special case you can never kill him unless he's 40% hp. With tedious repetition ive figured out a way to at least somewhat deal with him. Pop your bubble out in front of him immediately start walking backwards. This will drop hom to 50% if your team is around he's dead. If not just hop away. You can negate his ult by placing a bubble on top of him or slapping him away in primal rage.
Soldier 76
You can never kill him if they have a competent healer that knows to turn around. All soldier has to do is sit in his healing well, He will outheal your damage and kill you. Always jump on him with bubble. Or you ded.
Bad soldiers will run from you just zap their ass.
Tracer... shes fuck that tier but you can at least make her life hard. Sticky will kill you.Unless you're at full health. She plays the same role as Winston generally you shouldn't be near her.
Bastion
nope.exe you a dead monkey your bubble pops in 1.2 seconds. You can at least kill him in primal rage if he sets up in some weird ass place where you can spin around him. Only in primal rage though.

He's RNG as all hell with his stupid god damn arrows if a hanzo is good when you jump and bubble him he'll walk back into the bubble and multishot. Sometimes it kills you sometimes it doesn't. if it doesnt, He dead. Thats only good hanzos though most will just panic and run.
Junkrat
This shit is entirely skill dependent on the Junkrat a good Junkrat anticipates the jump landing and places a trap. If you trapped you ded. Otherwise hop on him bubble him, its the same with pharah he will kill himself on the bubble. Just look for his traps move around it and kill him.
Mei
Mei is fucking nope

never go to her ever unless you know she's low and your team is around.

You can stop him from ever setting up and I mean ever. if you get to him before he can set up. self explanatory, just jump and dunk her you can insta pop her poison shit if she chucks it at you. just anticipate her jump never make an obvious path at her if she shoots you in the head while you're jumping she can kill you on the landing. Always look to be sneaky deaky.

Getting gold eliminations as a DVa is braindead easy. Since you get credit for an elimination if you just deal damage to someone within a space of time, you can just sit in the back firing huge spreads at half the map for like 1 damage and still get credit. Stay near the front but let other people go up front from time to time, ideally there is a second tank.
Bait shots onto yourself and activate barrier and then go back to cover.
