True, I guess it´s because of the cpu in the cartridge but it never was too bad for me as long as I didn´t leave it in my ds and put it in stand by. Either removing the card or shutting down the ds completely worked good.

The pros outweighted the cons for me at least

And then ds2 became obsolete when Nintendo stopped blocking ds flashcarts and it ate through battery for crappy emulation the 3ds can do natively
