There's also a mod that lets me talk to most NPCs (even those without unique dialogue) and gives me a dialogue option to change their body type. This lets me talk to people and change their body type to CBBE or 7B or UNP or whatever so modded clothes fit them. Can also change the skin type. I can check on the name of the mod if anyone gives a shit.

A lot of people recommend World Eater Beater for a better final boss, but Trainwiz mods seem rather poorly made to me personally. I recommend Improved Main Quest Finale, but it's only on the Steam Workshop which might be a problem depending on what modding application you use.

Can you use tesvedit or the mod? If you mean tesedit then yes you run it from mod organizer without launching the game. If you find a mod that is crashing your game then the easiest thing to do is to disable it. Otherwise you'd have to find why that mod is fucking shit up and clean it which can be hard when you don't know what you are doing. Also try going trough Gophers tutorials. Guy has some long ass videos but he explains everything you need to know about using mods.

If you haven't started using MO yet then that means there is a problem your game files. If you've tried everything but nothing seems to work then unfortunately you may have to make a clean install.
Unhampered game files are certainly preferable as when you come into conflicts, you'll at least know it's only with your mod loadout in MO and not the actual game files. That makes the problems easier to track down and solve.

Most people on PC don't own the official DLC as the workshop and nexus offer better options for free. the first time they went on any sort of real sale after the announcement was during this last week on the steam sale. for a measly 25% off (or 55% if you buy the game and all the dlc, which is the same price as a single dlc).
So I bought it because I'm an idiot with my money. But I hadn't bought any dlc for 3 years for the game. So to get the 'free' upgrade I spent 20 bucks. Alot of pc gamers will probably end up doing the same thing for their 'free' upgrade.

Sounds good enough. I remember it being a bit of a hassle to switch between Nehrim and Oblivion. This sounds like it will be fairly easy to switch between Enderal and Skyrim. I'll probably stay completely focused on Enderal until I finish it, but it's good to know that going back to Skyrim won't be hard.

I highly doubt that. It's highly recommended to have all the DLC if you're planning to mod the game, since most of the best mods require at least one of them. Dawnguard is worth it just for crossbows.

I'm not sure that will ever happen. I think we've kind of learned our lesson after the death of DOS and won't radically change things to the same degree again.

Is anyone else bothered by how Enhanced Camera has you sort of looking down sideways if you look down at your body? It's always annoyed me. It also seems to cause problems with light spells or wearable lanterns not giving off light in first person.

I just came to this thread to say, if you like pretty visuals, if you don't use enb because of performance issues. Then just download FXAA post process Injector- preset 4 from Nexus website. It is almost as good as Enb without any performance loss.
It adds sharpness, FXAA, saturation, bloom and makes colours more vibrant.

I wish I could, because it seems fun, and it's easier for me to play as a non-self-insert if I don't play in first person. I just can't get it to feel completely right. I've figured out some camera settings that feel good for combat most of the time, but they don't feel right for dialogue or searching for loose loot (i.e. items not in containers). Maybe I just haven't used the right mods?
I still gave it a try for some nudist female characters I played a while back. That was fun.

I think part of it is that we look at all these great-looking mods and imagine what an amazing game we'd get if we added them all together, then we actually play the game and realize it's still the same old dungeons, quests, and NPCs. If there were more content and quests to try out the new mechanics/items/spells in, the pattern might not repeat itself as much.
