Has anybody had to do repairs on their CRT? Any good resources you can recommend. Just picked up pic related 4free , but I get zero sound out of the speaker.

Loving your setup. If I ever decide to get a CRT and a little retro-desk setup, I would like it to be like that. Especially the awesome grey TV. I know some people are more nostalgic for wood grain, but I like the utilitarian grey electronics from the 80's.

If you can, you should either find a VGA box for your Dreamcast or mod it to output a VGA signal, and then get a good CRT monitor for it if you don't already have a suitable display for it. It looks so much better than RCA.
Speaking of output signals, what would you guys recommend I do for my Model 1 Sega Genesis? I was planning on modding an S-Video plug onto it, but could I use RGB without having to mess with the case itself? I kind of want to keep it as original as possible, but I also want something better than RCA for it.

So I'm pretty pleased with what I have. I'd like a a good CRT monitor, but I prefer the tradeoff between quality and size for a consumer model CRT. It might be different if I were still in an apartment or only had just a room to myself, but I've got a house and would rather play stuff like that on the couch.

I actually got a nice CRT because someone put one out on the side of the road and tagged it as free. It had an s-video input and everything. The only thing wrong was the sound didn't work, but I have speakers I can hook up my consoles to anyway.
