Is has been like that since 2010 or so. And the worse part is that Nintendo isn't even competing because in order to have a good experience with a Wii U you NEED to also own a PC so you don't miss on all the games that skip the Wii U or Nintendo consoles. Meanwhile you can only have a PS4 and play most games released on the market with a few exceptions.
