I never visited those threads and I can tell you that it's more than likely bullshit. Don't pretend that /v/ are good at criticism and giving ideas, 99% of the people's idea of criticism here is "It's FUCKING SHIT because it's shit".
I've seen countless of anons claiming that criticism towards liked games aren't enjoyed after people called out on them either straight up lying or just calling the game and various things in the game shit without explaining why it's shit.
Posts with valid, thought out criticism of bad parts of a game are very rare and far between. I'm honestly fine with people saying a game is shit, but when they try to fucking turn around and claim "Nuuuh, you can't accept criticism!!!" and that everyone are blind fanboys, I get fucking pissed. I fucking love arguing and debating about what makes a game good or bad but that fucking never happens here.

Then you don't know what you're talking about. The threads I visited were mostly about people throwing ideas in there and creating the game together. There were some complaints about the shitty designs of the MC which he first ignored, but finally gave into.
But it's no wonder if many comments are just "your game is shit". This is 4chan. Just ignore them and move on.
That being said, I'd never viral my game here. If it becomes a /v/ project, it's doomed to get shit on. People here only appreciate renowned creators with actually finished products, because atleast they won't turn up being shitters in the end.
