I have never seen this outside of the most cancerous ports by ubishit. I have 500 hours in DS1 and 200 in DS 2, and From Soft is dead to me.

Similar situation here, tried it out a month ago, somehow got through the tutorial area on 25fps but then it dropped below 20 when I got to the first major area. I have a 2013-tier rig but damn this is nuts, and it doesn't even look great to boot

That happened to me, but it turns out it was using the wrong graphics card. Just putting it out there.
