It's a *lot* harder than most mainstream games. That was the first thing I noticed about the combat system. You actually have to have some degree of tactics to defeat opponents in melee.

Jackie Chan's Kung Fu Kicking Expedition is pretty rad. The only thing I'd really want to add is a grapple, like Zeno Clash. Just pick up the enemies and throw them at other bad guys or toss them alive straight into fires or something. That's be cool.

Stealth is the only reliable way to perform a lot of the cooler environmental kills and magic is worth it for the freeze spell alone. Sword fighting might be the most fun playstyle but you lose out on a lot of fun by not being able to put perks in everything else. Archery is alright too.

The combat revolves 100% around kicking as weapons and magic barely do any damage at all, but your stamina will deplete in 3-4 kicks so if there's more than 1 enemy and you fail to kill each in single kick, you're pretty much dead, especially later in the game where instakill mages that can't miss ever no matter how much you move around come in large numbers. Since I have a big backlog and I won't be playing it multiple times, which is better balanced and fun out of mage or warrior?
