It's not as good or expansive as sid's pirates, but it is really, really comfortable.
Some people are triggered by the bloom, but it didn't bother me.
Enjoy cruising the open seas and doing quests for ports. The music and soundeffects really hammer in that relaxing atmosphere.

Pretty much the only thing it has in common with W3 is the emphasis on heores an their abilities, but that is Much expasive in DoW . The earlier two games, if you haven´t played them ,which you should (if only for the plot and backstory) are kinda close to an RPG, each of your units 4 skill tracks has 5 or so gear slots so you have to tailor your loadouts to the mission at hand. Chaos Rising even has a morality system like an RPG and it works kinda well and fits the lore
Retribution streamline the skill system and has less varied gear, because they expect you to use troops.

That depends on what you think is an RPG, because, Shadow of mordor is more like a Batman styled action / adventure game If you want something that´s undoubedly an RPG, get The Witcher, the Gothic games (the comabt system is wierd but reportedly similar to the witcher) for RPGS with one chracter. Also the most expesive one is 4 euro, the others are like 1 somethng.) If you want a party, get Dragon age which is kinda like fantasy Mass effect. Its Bastion that can be completed in half an afternoon. There are definitely some awesome ideas in the game, but they aren't taken to a logical limit because of obvious shortcuts they needed to make the game come out on time. The combat system is ingenious but most people tend to find a few combos that work well and just stick with them for the whole game.
There is real potential in later fights against opponents that can also use turn() but its over much too quickly.
If you bought bastion and liked it, then sure. If you haven't yet played bastion, get that first instead.
