What do you think each Link's personality is like, based on NPC dialogue, and background information?
OoT Link was probably a distant asshole due to the bullying he received in his life, it goes along with the his official art looking pretty angry most of the time.
I see Toon Link being a lazy goof, but kind, and sort of a smug asshole whenever he gets the upper hand in a fight.
Twilight Princess Link appears to be very kind and helpful, despite his artwork seemingly displaying him as a stoic badass. He enjoys working on the farm, and the simple life. I don't see him enjoying the battle as much as the other Links, he probably sees his job more as a mission than an adventure.
Skyward Sword Link was more of a self insert, considering his dialogue choices. He can any level between kind and smug asshole.

I like your interpretations, but Ocarina of Time Link is canonically a Child in an Adult's Body, so him being a distant asshole definitely carried over into that. Majora's Mask Link, after his experiences in Hyrule, definitely seems more understanding and calm, almost wise. I think just the fact that most of his Quest, assuming 100% is canon, is helping people with their personal issues, because he is also on a Quest for personal reasons.
