I started to play 999 because i saw here a lot of post about the series and how good are the games but i can't find why the people thinks that this is actually a good game...

It's a puzzle and mystery game. One where you try to take what the game gives you and use it to interpret new shit that happens or has already happened, be it in a different ending or whatever.
If the mystery of why 9 seemingly unconnected group of people are trapped in a titanic-like place forced to survive and solve puzzles to escape or get blown to bits doesn't catch your interest then you should just move on.

For one you should be playing it for the story. The puzzles are just a distraction. If you're not hooked by the death game scenario, you may not love it. But there are a few twists and shit hits the fan near the end.
Dump this and play the non-hack, better Ever17 instead.

it's okay anon, it's not for you. truth be told i just marathoned the zero escape series starting around the beginning of june. i tried playing lords of the fallen before that and it made me absolutely hate video games, but i found joy in the zero escape series again.

I was after playing 999. I like puzzles well enough, and VNs when the story is worth it.
The story was not worth it. And since I hated the story, it made the puzzles tedious to the point I just wished I was playing something else.

One of my favorite games of all time. Play through once, look up the 'bad endings' (knife, sub, axe). Play the safe ending. If you do not like the game by then you know it is not for you. If you like it get the true ending.
