His strength, endurance, and sheer power increased immensely, and I don't think it was ALL because of the Joy.
I'm pretty sure it was inferred in his speech to Buddy that his fireballs and shit were mainly because of his family's Armstrong Style karate. Hence Dustin could do it because he was a pupil of Brad, but Buddy had to use a sword because she didn't learn and karate.And if you're just asking how it was physically possible in the first place, then I have no fucking clue.
