Back when Naughty Dog actually made their games run at 60fps while also having the best graphics possible, this was actually very advanced at the time given the PSX's limitations. They had an actual rocket scientist do the programming.
Does /v/ like my kitten?

Cutting soda and snack foods can go a long way on their own. It's also a lot easier to eat better if you do your own cooking instead of eating out. Adding in a workout routing is hit or miss for some people, but I find lifting to be an extremely gratifying hobby, and I'm of the mindset that everyone should do some sort of physical activity.
Keep up the good work anons.

That depends on what you already know, I guess? Overall though it seems pretty user friendly. It's modeling and material creation that's the real pain though.

>>343697015
if you've never touched an UE editor before, or any kind of game creation system, it's gonna be pain in the ass. You also need to work hard to bend it to anything else than an FPS game in its default form.
Nowadays there's very little differences between the major, available game engines. I personally went with Unity, since it's free now, and has much bigger and more active community, which tends to create plugins and assets for just about every kind of game-creation need out there. Which is very handy for a code-illiterate art & idea-guy moron like me, who just wants to start making his game.

I'm pretty sure the Playstation Crash games all run at 30 FPS, since it was about as much as the system could do without games being 2D or made of extremely basic shapes.
The funny thing is that Naughty Dog only ever made 60FPS games for the PS2.

wow, so, beautiful, godrays, wow...
Uncharted games has a lot of artistic principles applied to it, saying that these older games are prettier just because muh resolution is the same as saying that hyperrealism in prettier and a really good painting. (i'm anticipating this muh resolution argument.

That's because you've been fed up with these boring and empty open world games full of shitty fetch quests.

I never talked about the games being good or not.
>>343706408
Really? I was hoping i could emulate this masterpiece if i got a better rig... oh well.
Honestly I'd rather have something be somewhat stylized instead of make-it-or-break-it realism. There will always be something just a little bit off with the latter, while flaws can be better hidden with the former.
>>343706796
>>343706814
but I really like Crysis and think its a good game and since i'm spamming crysis in all of the steam sale threads Im not punctuating my posts well
and give me some arguments then you dummie
>>343707079
It's still playable, but you're better off getting the ps3 port.
>>343707509
I see, thanks.
>>343707465
I gave you arguments, you just spammed dumb shit, instead of discussing the real discussion, which was "graphics" btw.
>>343707864
I haven't argued with anyone yet. It looks like I replied to the "open areas=/=beauty" guy rather than the OP
Anyways my argument is that Crysis is a more technologically and graphically impressive game due to the massive environments.
>>343708598
And i said that Uncharted 4 is prettier because a lot of art principles has been applied to it, enhancing the visual fidelity and with it's beautifully crafted landscapes.
Such as slightly yellowish lighting, indirect and diffuse lighting, blueish reflections on where there are shadows, really beautiful composition in certain areas.
These things i'm talking about can all be read in a book called "Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter", that's also why i said that stating that a game is prettier just because muh resolution (expecting that argument) is like saying that hyper-realism is prettier than a really good painting.
Now, don't get me wrong, i never said Crysis was ugly, only that because of the artistic factor, Uncharted is able to look better (imo) and have more visual fidelity.
>>343708598
and also, like i said, the fact that it has massive environments doesn't make it prettier than a linear game.
>>343690325

He's not wrong, but the texture resolution would be tiny and there would be a real limit to the drawcalls, maybe get a sealed room instead of an apartment.
Technically "right" but not serviceable at all.
