>no feedback whatsoever
>controllers arent connected to anything so you dont feel the weight of a giant robots controls

Why even bother
>>
Drove out 20 minutes to try out the psvr at a best buy nearby having demonstrations. The fucking Sony rep didn't show

Where do you live that a 20 mninute drive is considered long?
>>
>>343687752
Most of it is a meme, there's so little point in using homo sticks over m/kb or controller.
I just want VR for games played the traditional way.

Just from this one post shows your ignorance towards VR, particularly the vive. Look up room-scale.

Pic related: every "VR h8r" ever

it is a meme

link on the full vid ?

Remember how motion controls where the future?
What big titles use motion controls again?
>>
>>343689348
I'm not looking up anything you silly cunt.
By room scale, do you mean the retarded gimmick where you physically stand or crouch and it affects you within the early access vr game itself?
>muh pic related
I don't hate VR, I'm actually waiting for Oculus because I'm not paying for all the garbage vive is packaged with.
>>
>>343687752
sure looks like it
it's merely cheap (or expensive depending on how you're looking at it) spectacle
real game design is hardly experimented with or advanced in any meaningful way, even though it's tremendously more powerful than any control scheme or viewing apparatus could ever be.
but unfortunately that's entirely ignored in favor of making someone think "ooh, neat". i think it's all pretty lame.

>first person melee combat

When will this meme die?
>>
>>343690839
Yeah this is clearly finished
>>

>First person melee combat with accurate motion detection and depth perception

What's wrong?
>>
>>343690967
For something as basic, fundamental, and simple as "punching" and "blocking" in a game about combat, you would expect a good game to have that all working around the time they start showing off the game.
