Lots of flaws, but still one of my favorite games in recent memory. The quests (sans dlc) and RPG elements are great.

I am fine with a good RPG tail and adventure, but this is not it. Not by a long shot. Every thing is so drab and lifeless to a point of being uninteresting.

What's the point in continuing roaming around aimlessly after the main story is over?. This is a true rpg, the point of having no post game is to start over and try different story routes and character builds.

Valid criticism i guess. You can only do so much with a mere 18 months of developing time while being forced to work for the first time on whats probably the buggiest engine on the video game industry and commited to do a full open world rpg. They went for world coherence more than sheer size. If you mean the city of new vegas then it was divided like that because of console limitations. You can restore it to how it's meant to be with a mod that restores cut content.
