I believe the fix is using borderless windowed mode, because the game has a bug where any time you alt-tab from fullscreen you lose all shortcuts. I don't actually understand why they didn't fix such a massive bug but I guess it's a difficult issue with the Source engine. Borderless windowed should fix it though, although you may have to use properties -borderlesswindowed or something similar, just check the forums (it's been quite a while since I played it.)

Can someone tell me how to set up a server? I followed the guide in the Steam group but it still doesn't seem to work. I've tried Hamachi and that shit's a no-go.
And whenever I give up and go "let's just play on a public server with no one on it," a bunch of cunts always end up joining and just murder all the NPCs like assholes.

Believe in the Brouzouf. Also, make sure you rush a medkit asap and only use it above 20 charge. Just having that medkit makes the game a fuckload easier. I also recommend PSI clones, very useful and makes the game less lonely in single-player.
