Vanillaware Action Game

I bought it, found out the story was exactly the same, and never played it again. $47 down the drain.

Muramasa has technically that though. Problem is that there's literally fuck all to do in it, lots of the screens are literally just straight lines.

Pretty much this. I don't get the hype around their games. Played Muramasa and played them all. Play 5 minutes and played it all. Pretty normal 2D sidescrolling action game.

Apparently /v/ hates the game since it got so good reviews.

I'ts only a few people going "hurr it's a remake so I'm gonna announce very loudly I'm not gonna spend my money on it". Like, seriously what one would expect of a remake? As far as they go it's a very good one simply because it's an improvement in every single aspect but most importantly game mechanics.
