Yeah, why was this game so completely forgotten and buried by time and gamers? Never played it, but the gameplays don't look that bad.

This makes me want to play it, honestly.

Yes, it's like a big, dumb, schlocky blockbuster of a game. It's almost the perfect mixture of being playable, innovative ideas that don't quite work, and so bad it's good.
I had it
I liked it during its release, but in retrospect I was willing to eat a lot of shit during the first half of last gen. I eventually bought it for $3 a few years later and couldn't get over how unpolished and glitchy it was, even after being patched.
If it just wasn't a chore to play, I'd probably rank it alongside Alan Wake, which is one of my favourite last gen games. What's the PC version like?
What do people think of Alone in the Dark 1-3?
>preordered this from Hollywood video for the full $60 price tag
The most buyers remorse I've ever experienced in my life

Soundtrack is about ten times better than this game deserves to be honest.

They're one of the genre grandfathers, but they've aged horribly. PS1 game is much more palatable and you can play it as action game or puzzle game, depending on who you choose.

>mfw music kicks in during those sections
you don't really pay attention while you're playing beaus you're fighting with controls, but holy shit that's a tight soundtrack
