This game looks great, but given the sluggish devs and the fact the peak number of players yesterday was 18, I'm not sure I even want to drop $5 for it.

I visited the company that is making it for a week as a school thing. they are desperet for money, and the game will properly never become what thye want it to be.

Tower Unite. The minigames in it scratch that 6th gen console party game itch in just the right places, and it's a fun game to chill out in and pass the time when you have nothing to do.
The problem is, the casino isn't in yet and therefore video poker (What used to be my primary source of income in the GMod Tower variant) and the minigames only have so much replayability. They keep an active trello that is regularly updated, but they made the mistake of releasing the game in early access. I know GMTower veterans who didn't even know the game existed until they were told about it, so like, an addon for garry's mod with an already waning playerbase has an even smaller community now.

Yeah I really want part 2 too. They said before that they're going to port the first part to the latest version of Source first though and that part 2 is the longest part of the game so it'll probably take longer. That and he's not working on it very much as he's working on that one tactical shooter but that he'll never abandon the project.
They were taking crowd funding back in 2005.
