The slow, deliberate combat completely lost me in 2 dimensions. At some point I had floating skulls pass through me left to right to left to right and fucking me up while I was trying to swing my weapon at them, haven't booted the game up since. Possibly might have been an effect of being over saturated with Souls style games currently but I really didn't enjoy it.
It's kinda ok, even good, but the art of the faces and some other stuff is ugly as a sin, like an art reject trying too hard to be something something. People are blobs with their eyes too wide and too low and looks disgusting.
Getting a helmet is a top priority in this game, holy shit.
After that's done, it's pretty good if you're into Metroidvanias with Dark Souls like everything else.

I bought this out of a suggestion from a friend but it didn't engaged me at all. Then out of impulse bought Hyper Light Drifter and it's fucking good. Yet, no one mentions HLD.
The only relation between them is that they're indie games kinda trying to be another old game, HLD heavily inspired in aLTTP, yet, feels different enough. S&S is straight up cloning DaS and it's not ok because, well, if you want to play DaS you play DaS. S&S world can't interest you at all.

I generally play aggressively and don't use a shield, but disemboweled husk is an exception for me. What pisses me off are the enemies that teleport on top of you, because it tells me the devs couldn't figure out a good way to get enemies to jump across gaps or up ledges.

Trolling aside, I never got the hype behind Uncharted games. It's the generic trope of Legends of the Hidden Temple starring Nicholas Cage but it's really really REALLY handholding every step on the way.
