I don't agree, but even if I did, you can add some blue cheese toppings to a fruit tart, it's not going to make it a better food tart.
The dash is interesting, but it's unfit for all MM purpose and it hinders the game more than it helps it.

It's not bad, but it isn't particularly good either.
Mega Man X and Zero already feel like what a modern mega man should be: this just feels like a cheap knockoff that doesn't really do anything better than those games. For 4 million dollars, this is pretty sad. As a game, it's just average, which is why the only reason anyone will remember this is because of the kickstarter fiasco.
I backed it. It's bad. I couldn't play for more than an hour. I'd rather play Mega Man X8, I'd rather play Mega Man 8.

I unironically like how Mighty Number 9 plays. But of course people are fucking pissed when the game looks like fucking ass. And people were promised so much, much, more in both visuals and mechanics.
The kickstarter is and always will be a complete travesty. Even if the gameplay of the game itself actually ended up quite alright, it's nothing in comparison to what it sent itself out to be.
