What are some good microphones? None of that headset shit but I've been using my Samsung Galaxy for gamingand YouTubefor the longest time and I want an upgrade.

I got this thing. Not specifically for vidya, but I ended up also having the clearest microphone over anyone else in Teamspeak or in-game.

Seems like a steal.

Well, it was a gift from my brother and he also got me the shock mount and heavy stand, which adds to the price. But for video games and such, it should be fine with just the microphone. If your spoiler is implying you do YouTube videos, you may want to consider those extras.
Either way, highly recommended. Good build quality and you just plug it in to USB and it works.

BM-800
Pop filter
SOMAKE 7.1 USB sound card
Optional moving arm mic stand
All on Gearbest. Should be around $40 for everything with free shipping. Don't get jewed. Embrace the chinks.

Yeah, the shock mount is definitely more appealing. I don't let's play or live commentary or anything relating to vidya so holding my mic to my mouth wasn't a problem but this seems more practical.

There's also the filter thing that I don't have, but now we're really getting into show business/singing territory now. The mic isn't even right in front of me while gaming so it's useless for that part I think.

They're fairly cheap usually so I doubt I'd be buying one is a complete loss.
>Used to have expensive headsets
>Kept breaking due to poor cable setup where my old computer used to be so decided to buy cheap ass ones
>Realize I can now buy expensive ones again
