I've never had this problem because I don't play shit games.
SM64. Used to love it, but recently replayed it and found it to be mediocre. It was a step forward for 3D platformers and 3D games using controllers, but otherwise it's fairly boring. I used to like it more than Banjo, but now I realize Banjo is far superior. I replayed that too, and it was just as good as I remembered.

Love it, can recite most of the script by memory but fucking hell, the sheer amount of combat just burns me out eventually.
I can only emulate and it just feels really bad mapping C-buttons to a stick or giving up A and B to have them as the face buttons.
