In Fallout 3/4 a radscorpion WILL hit me if he's in front of me, and I wont fucking miss either. The thread was a bit baity, I'm actually enjoying the setting, characters and challenge. Also the voice over narrations when you die are cool and the creepy cut scenes are good. But the combat just triggers me.

It was shit but it was easy shit. The publisher insisted there be a tutorial in the game, it sucks, but if you aren't retarded, it's a minor inconvenience that doesn't require you to spend points on melee and you still don't need to be have a perfect build to beat the game.

All you miss is a couple hundred XP and some worthless loot. Healing powders that reduce your Perception and radscorpion tails that are worthless for how heavy they are.
Run straight through. Lockpick the first door, blow up the second with the plastic explosive. Don't worry about the spear launchers, they will NEVER hit you. Steal the key from the guy at the end. Savescum if you need to. It's not that fucking hard.
