Many characters with mobility or defense options can escape on reaction if they do so immediately (Reaper having the element of surprise makes that unlikely). For example:
Tracer can double Blink in any direction to ensure she's out of range.
Genji can deflect Reaper to death.
McCree can Flashbang.
Pharah's boost may not actually send her high enough to escape Reaper. That thing is tall as fuck.
76 may have some trouble, but Sprint may let him get out with a sliver of life left.
Junkrat can Concussion himself/Reaper away (phyrric revenge with Mayhem).
Hanzo is fucked. Widow is probably fucked.
Bastion might have a chance in Turret mode.
Torb is fucked unless MOLTEN CORE or he has a lot of Scrap in reserve and he dumps Armor at his feet.
Mei can Wall/Cryo.
Four of the five tanks can easily react to and survive Death Blossom.
Rein and Winston especially can protect allies with their shields.
Hog can heal himself or interrupt the Blossom with his Hook.
D.va can use Defense Matrix, Boost away or lose the mech and bail.
Zarya will not be so lucky. Her lack of Armor will kill her even with Barrier.
Lucio may be able to speed away or Blast.
Mercy flies to an ally if possible.
Zenyatta and Symmetra are extra fucked.
