Yes? I've main Villager since day 1, played in local and regional tournaments. Tree is a good trapping move, the sprout catches people off guard, and can force them into a situation where they roll and get hit with an Fsmash. The axe is good too, but I don't use it enough.
Raw Fsmash is better if someone whiffs an ai move by you, otherwise it's pretty risky with 21 startup frames.
