This game was so fucking fun. The route the story and the dialogue took still bother me though.
I mean, in the end of Max Payne 2, Max says he had a dream of his wife, in it she was dead, and it was okay. He had moved on. This is especially true if you beat the game on the "Dead on Arrival" difficulty and you get the ending whereMona lives
Instead they threw that out the window to make Max a depressed alcoholic again, send him over to Brazil, and make him curse like a sailor instead of like his old poetic self.

The cutscenes definitely ruin the pacing, but I thought they were all entertaining as far as videogame cutscenes and dialogue go. Subsequent playthroughs are suffering though most definitely.

Just had a look at games released in 2012 and wow, what a load of shit. Trials Evolution and Sleeping Dogs are the only games I can see that I liked. FIFA added ultimate team in 2013 too so I guess that too.
The Darkness had god tier voice acting and story, second one was ok at best.
