I'm still mixed on how the ending turned out and how some plot points were either ignored or brushed off but damn I love the last few moments of the ending and it definitely benefits from being open ended. "This is the decision game" sent chills down my spine, especially with the credits music playing shortly after
guys I don't get this one thing, if a copy of carlos was transported back 10 months to get out akane and junpei at the VLR end, he should be showing up at the end of every single timeline. But yet he never appears to bust out diana and sigma in their trapped timeline. And shouldn't there be an extra carlos walking around in the world even at the true end? Or did I miss something?

I really liked Delta and his motives though. You can't really argue with his logic.
That said I think this was the least good entry in the trilogy.

All of the body movement is either done by him himself or all of the Seans, and he obviously has control over both, I mean, the game is in his control. Agreed. I'm endlessly disappointing in how things ended and were resolved (or rather not resolved), but I enjoyed the ride. I think a lot of people out there think that if you criticize how horribly things were handled in terms of resolution, you're automatically a HATER!!!!1

The only fucking redeeming quality of ZTD was that awesome section of Sigma and Diana staying there for 10 months.
Out of nowhere the writing quality shoot up and became great-tier. Then afterwards it immediately dips again.

Because it was necessary for him to force Akane and Junpei to go to the timeline where C-Team is executed, as that's the timeline that leads to VLR.
It's not like Delta cares that he's dead or alive in a given history (as demonstrated multiple times, at least twice in the final ending), he only cares about his master plan.
