And did you sincerely expect otherwise? Any game that's "competitive" has become full of shitty people willing to blame anyone and everything other than themselves for losing the game. Just look at any other competitive game, it attracts the same shitty crowd.
If you're serious about playing competitive, then do so with friends, make a team and go in as such.
