Am I the only one that thinks this game deserves a remaster?

this game sucks and so does anyone who likes it

t. PC gaymer
I like the story and the concept but the gamplay isn't anywhere as good as its sequels or other open world / super hero games. Story was very good though lots of government conspiracy and I'm into that. After game is dull.
No. It wasn't that good that a remaster would show off its great things and another sequel would be better off than fully remaking it on PS4.
>tfw you can never actually save your gf

It was fucking shit. So no.

After playing second son and going back to this, the movement's stiff, the controls are weird and the powers limited in use.
If they reworked the game from the ground up? I could see it being great.

Remasters suck.
What we need is an alternative to SS where "evil" end of Infamous 2 is canon and you play as Cole's lieutenant wiping out humanity.
Yeah, we live in a generation of remasters and companies feel more safe remastering games that did well than actually making new good games and it costs them less money. Doesn't need a remaster.
I'd rather they just make a new sequel rather than upres this one. Shit feels archaic after having played 2 and Second Sun.

I wouldn't mind. I enjoyed the first two, though never played the last one. Going through it with a comb and grooming out some of the bugs while they're at it would make it perfect though.
The auto-track shit they use might be great for climbing, but it causes problems in fine movement, and the first game had a lot of falling-through-the-geometry issues.
If they were going to put that effort into it though, I'd rather it be done with a PC port along for the ride. That piece of shit Prototype is on PC - this should be too.
In an interview a director from sucker punch said a rough draft of a script of the evil ending sequel of infamous 2 was written but they decided to go the good route.
I remember this game was impossible to lose.

inFamous 1 was also way more TPS than the other ones. It really requires using the cover system, alot
>>343515184
Yes, it was shit.
Would be better if they didn't tell you what was evil and what as good or did a TellTale games style of how small and but decisions will have impacts whether those impacts are good or small and whether they are good or evil is up to the player to decide with his/her own morals.

It really does. The only issue I have is how useless some of the powers were unless you were infamous/hero already (By that point you're through the majority of the game anyways)
I think the Story being retold in something like Second Son's engine would be neat though, simply because they got the movement down in that game really well.

While I like that style of narrative, Infamous works better with comic book styled extremes rather than subtle nuances.
