I don't like it myself. If it's forced skimpiness, I try my best to ignore it. If it's skimpiness based on progression, I'd stick to weaker armor sets than get unnecessary eyefuls, or if possible, wear something over it. Personally I like seeing designs, and I guess characters wearing little means less effort can be put into the design, unless the devs use the body as a canvas for the character's silhouette as well as the clothes. Barbaric characters can usually get away with looking almost naked because it fits their aesthetic, and usually have tattoos or scars or something that make their skin more interesting besides the level of sexuality there. But usually I just see it as unnecessary fapbait to lure people into liking things they wouldn't otherwise like because the body isn't anything of note when thinking with my brain and not with my dick.

Sexual content is simply just a different flavor of content. No one expects a game to be careful with it's violence, or careful with it's sentimentality, or careful with it happiness.
