CB wasn't disruptive before, because using super AED was never justified, except maybe huge monster fights like Aka/Uka or Dala.
It's actually more disruptive in MHGen because it's lost the AED shortcut from sword form, and because bushidodge follow-up is the second phial discharge attack which is a wide circular slash that can trip.

AED isn't disruptive, it's a narrow vertical swing, and as I said before super AED wasn't worth using 99% of the time, because you loose your shield boost. Without AED shortcut you have to rely more on the second phial discharge, especially since its got a shortcut of its own after a bushido dodge.

You can make do by touching the image of the monster on your touchscreen. Pressing L realigns the camera to focus on the monster. That works most of the time, I usually only use the nub to adjust the view slightly.

Honestly the CB got some well deserved nerfs. The fact that it was better than hammers at KOing monsters was fucking stupid and so was the fact that you could pull a lance tier shield out so easily.
Its way more in line with the rest of the weapons now.

Striker Lance is top tier actually, but it's because the charge poke does even more damage with the style. With that and the old poke in exchange for charge jumps and the sweep nobody uses that's a steal.
GS strong charges don't seem to be effected much at all actually. The followup swing still inherits the charge from it, Lv1 charge or no charge has no extra visual effects.
