They're trying to keep ps4 users from getting mad at being cucked with paid online and 15 fps in ports and going to pc.

PS4 is a fine console hardware wise, but it's software library is pretty disappointing.

It fucking sucks because devs used to push technology on PC and Console and now were obsessed with resolution and framerate that games get downgraded just so they can run at PR friendly numbers.
Quantum Break is ridiculous in the pure TECHNOLOGY it pushes but because it's an absolute monster in specs on PC and "Only 720P" on xbone despite the complex temporal resolution tech (As in the one sony is trying to use for the Neo for upscaling to 4K). People gave it shit. Game would have run the same "720P" on PS4 as well and we'd be hearing excuses how PS4 is a beast that it handles next gen lighting that well.

I will certainly help, if it's affordable. Everyone I know who uses a console over a PC does it because they can't afford a good rig. My rig was about 1400 with all the bells and whistles and I run just about everything on ultra or very high. Shadows can still be an issue, but rarely.

Exclusivity in general is bad and some people on PC like Japanese games. More people playing on PC would likely result in more games being released on it, possibly resulting at some point in the future many Japanese games not being ports, but just general multiplats that are released on PC from the start.
