ITT: Post purchases you've made for the Steam sale that you absolutely do not regret.
Jesus fuck this game is good. I know I'm slow, but the Steam sale enticed me into buying it. It's like anime X-Com with fucking tanks. The designs are so damn good, nothing crazy, very down-to-earth but appealing. And I'm pretty sure that if Alicia wasn't so great, I'd probably be going homo for Welkin. Kinda wish that there wasn't such a rush to end your action after firing, since you just get endlessly dicked on until you do, but aside from that, this is really fantastic.

you are about 5 years late to the party.
Now, you will regret:
- Valkyrie Chronicles 2 is only available in PSP
- Valkyrie Chronicles 3 is never translated to English version

VC2 and 3 can be emulated and 3 got a fan translation.

Nah, it's alright. As long as the story ends decently, I don't really care too much about the sequels. Enjoying the hell out of this game, though. Haven't had a game I've had so much fun with in a while.

VC is one of my 5 favorite games of last gen. But I haven't played the PC version. I'd suggest trying Suikoden or Utawarerumono if you liked VC.
Cities: Skylines

>need to hurry and end your action before you die
>accidentally press the wrong button, thus not ending your turn
>get blown the fuck out
I wouldn't have it any other fucking way.

>Suikoden
What, why? How are they similar at all?

>dome the faggot a couple times just for good measure
>5th shot misses
>he turns and starts shredding me like I'm fucking lettuce
>"w-wait it's my commander's turn to give orders"
>I forgot to say "time-out"
>he keeps shooting at me
>fall to the ground
>get stepped on when it's his turn

Both series took well known anime troupes and put a new spin on them. As well as being stories of a small rag tag army that challenged a world superpower. And of course, having a large cast of unique characters.
