Pikmin 2 is great, but the fact that there's no pressure to act and no time constraints on dungeon/cavern crawling weakens its replayability for me. It makes a lower day count feel less meaningful when I could spend 5 hours on a single "day," and measuring in real-time would make me compare myself to speedrunners and the game simply takes too long to complete for it to feel worthwhile as a speedrun.
I wish I could try Pikmin 3, but like hell I'm buying a Wii-U.
