If you played 2 then you already know thatthe protagonist Michael Becket finally got caught at the end by Alma thanks to corporate shenanigans and was raped in short order. So, with Alma having Becket's baby growing inside of her, this leads Paxton's ghost to come upon Pointman who's been holed up in a prison. Now if we're talking gameplay, I mean, I don't know what to tell you. Me and my friend played through it together because one dude controls pointman and the other controls paxton in split screen co-op and I was willing to give that a chance because fuck it we need more couch co-op nowadays. Pointman is your standard run and gun with the slow mo abilities he had in the first game and shit. Paxton is the more interesting choice for some players because you can literally run around going through walls and shit and possess enemies and even shield Pointman.
It's been years since I played it though and we only did it once. It's got a retarded good/bad ending feature depending on how well you played and the "items" that you picked up to build your psychic power, and whoever's got the better score at the end of the game gets to see their character end play out.
But I say this also noting that the entire final act was pretty much stupid in transition though.If Paxton wins, he possesses Pointman and takes the newborn child...and then eats Alma. Pointman wins, he puts away Paxton for good and Alma finally gets to rip while Pointman takes his niece

Most the mods have been removed from their little hosting places unfortunately, you might be able to find some resurrected links through the Steam community forums.
