Zero/Delta trapped everyone to cause the circumstances under which he would be born and to instill in them the beleif that the future can be changed in order to prevent a terrorist attack in the future
Mira is a Serial Killer and killed Eric's mother, who took the wrong path because of a snail, which caused Akane's parents to kill themselves due to a wrongful accusation, which prevented Sean (the helmet kid) from being saved by akane's dad.
Zero/Delta visited the genius Sean in hospital and recreated him in a Quantum computer after his death.

I think the Force Quit Box was supposed to be the final puzzle room, in a sense. In VLR, the Q room was the culmination of the entire game, and it's where Sigma is able to utilize his knowledge learned from different timelines.
They couldn't really do much more than that in ZTD. Everyone has already shifted a shitload of times so there wouldn't be much impact.
