>As of today, July 1, all mobile games must be pre-approved by the Chinese government at least 20 days before they’re released. It’s part of sweeping new regulations to curb when, what, and how media is distributed in China.
>Though every game is impacted by this, it seems like it’ll touch story-based games even more:
>Application approval is contingent on storyline, content, character features, etc. and publications involving political, military, ethnic or religious subjects are restricted.
> Even companies who’ve already published mobile games are required to meet another set of approvals from the government, for such games to stay online.
>Here are the rest of the regulations:
>Any changes made to a pre-existing game, including name changes, must be reported to SAPPRFT [State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People’s Republic of China] and the relevant provincial publication administrative department for approval.
>Online publishers are responsible for adding a special page that displays all information including copyright owners, publishers, approval number, and the publication serial number.
>Must adhere to strict timeline requirements for application submissions and publish within a limited number of days once approval is granted.
Why was the last thread deleted? Do we really have chink mods here too?

Any one heard of the Chinese Good Citizen game? You know, the game where you get points for being a good citizen. And you can get levels in that game. The higher level you are, the more real life benefits you get from the state. And you get points from having friends who have many points and friends with few points reduce your points aswell.

China sure is transforming into some sort of Cyberpunk dystopia.
>>
>>343437974
Not likely, they will probably auto approve anything made by the chinese and deny anything foreign.

wish they had this in my country, at least votes on specific people would matter and things would actually change per vote.

people with endless bags of money owning every single media outlet and controlling what everyone sees, hears and interacts with.

people that can't be reasoned with, stopped or replaced like a government official, China got things right.
>>
>>343438336
China is already a fucking dystopia.
>>
>>343438336
Its called Sesame Credit, some anon posted a extra credits youtube link last thread that went into horrid detail about it, the worst part is that they are the ones who control Riot and LoL now, so they will use it as a foothold on the west

I don't think the chinks have designated streets.
They just use any of them, because they actually clean up after themselves.

China is the worst

There are a bunch of fucking mainlanders at my Uni and a good portion (the ones who have never lived in the West before) are the worst. They cheat like crazy, are only friends with other chinese people, only speak chinese even when someone who does not know chinese are around them, and have shitty taste in vidya and are loud and obnoxious when playing them

the West has a secret weapon
>muh freedums

people are not used to blatant dictatorships. you can start sperging out about how western governments are corrupted too, but let me remind you. current political system is built on utilizing the corrupt people's desire to gain power. If you want to get your slice of corruption, you need to do something for people. So winners are those who can balance personal gain with pleasing the people.
>>
So thats why those nintendo bootleg games came out yesterday all together
>>
>>343440215
It wont, the west is radically different to Asia in many ways the bigger one the way people feel entitled to shit here, which is great
>>
>>343441220
>>343441860

I suspect a fairly large part of the population would already welcome a system like this with open arms.
Something like
>hate speech isn't free speech!
or
>only a racist/sexist/conspiracy theorist would complain!
is what they would say
"They" (the people who want a totalitarian system of social/political control) always use a gradual, boiling frog approach. They achieve their goals by conditioning the people through education and mass media into believing that those goals are actually beneficial or a necessary sacrifice for public safety and security.

Then you browse /pol/ too much.
People here still have common sense, the Brexit just proved this
>>

In fact, worse, because /pol/ is worse than /mlp/.
>>
>>343441220
Except the way China is trying to implement the system isn't by forcing it on everyone, its by leaving the actual act of joining the system up to each individual and even then they are planning on doing it gradually, first by throwing around some benefits before starting with the social engineering
>>
>>343443439
We wont see it in our lifetimes in any case.
>>
>>343441220
Please. The west is basically BEGGING for dictators now. If a western country does not start WW3 within 15 years due to gross human rights violations and overall being nationalistic and crazy, I'll eat my hat.

Also you really don't need to do jack shit for the people. See Donald Trump.
>>
>>343441220
Anon, the socialist party isn't dumb, they are slowly doing it, ever heard of that way of slowly boiling a frog so it doesn't notice the temperature change before its too late? They are masters of playing that game

It's from a video of a bunch of dorks protesting a Trump rally and arguing with a Trump supporter. One of protestors says that Trump is like Hitler and the supporter asks how he's like Hitler and that dude in the glasses screams "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! IS THIS A JOKE?!"

It's pretty much the only part worth watching because right after that some black dude walks up and says literally nothing that makes any sense.

You're a retarded fucking idiot. China is doing this to make sure games aren't showing anything that goes against their doctrine. This has nothing to do with respecting foreign copyright holders. Fucking Chinese soulless insect.
