I thought I was about to get my shit pushed in, and I was correct in my assumption. Might be one of my favorite boss transitions in gaming.

Its a sword used across the series that was never actually used against a player by an NPC. Ludwig was the first and the moment you see the green shimmer you know shits about to go down.
Also the monologue and delivery of the scene was perfect, especially after finally getting to the fucking phase to begin with.

I remember struggling on his first phase. When the second phase started i thought "Fuck this." It was actually much easier to manage though. The rest of the DLC was pretty easy after that until you get to Orphan of Kos. Fuck that asshole.

Arc build is top tier because you can use any weapon and exploit any enemies weakness by just swapping in and out elemental gems
Tonitrus is one of the fastest and hardest hitting weapons
And fire whirlgig saw is the strongest weapon in the game when fighting any beast types

I agree with this, it was so fucking good. I almost shit myself at the trailer when they even showed this molten mess of eyes and horse with a man's face. I remember how badly Parasite Eve 2 fucked with me by doing that shit, putting a human face on a horse body. Good shit. The only thing I can gripe about this game is the overuse of the word blood, this was an incredible game.

It's a recurring sword present in everygame in one form or another, however it never was included in the original bloodborne until the DLC came out, also it was wielded by an important NPC in bloodborne lore, using all the signature moves of the weapon, it was pretty neat and a nice way to introduce it into the game
