It would be really hard to adapt the show for western audience without the adaption loosing what makes the show so interesting.
A lot of the shows flair tries to emulate a romanticized picture of Japan during the 80s and early 90s. Translating that to a U.S. version would probably be abhorrent and cringy as fuck.

O'Brian's Clueless gamer segment is nothing like GameCenter CX since it's just him shilling whatever the latest big game is and doing an 'I AM SILLY' or doing standard American belittling observational humor.
