Fuck this game. Unless you can mod it to hell and back, it's a bland mess with no charm other than the occasional scenery and soundtrack.
And even after modding it for ten hours (something that will be limited on consoles due to lack of Script Extender) the game still suffers from fundamental design flaws, such as clumsy inventory system and the classically unplayable Bethesda engine.
I have played the remaster and can honestly say it's NOTHING like the old skyrim in terms of graphics.

Nah cuz in the same month as FO4 i also played Mad Max and Witcher 3 (huge open world games like FO4) and neither of them were boring.
FO4 is boring because of radiant quests. when i played skyrim i didn't even notice which quests were radiants and which were just normal. in FO4 it is so blatantly obvious, or how about the fact minecraft mode exists in the game but has ABSOLUTELY no reward or incentive to bother at fucking all, not to mention the settlement system already existed for Skyrim on pc as a mod, and (like every other "new feature" of FO4) bethesda took it and sold it as their own idea

Yes. Its called build diversity and replay value. Every single weapon skill alone in NV was viable on its own if you were crazy enough (explosives only is ablast). FO4 just screwed that part up hard with the rifleman perk being the top weapon perk that far exceeds the others.

The new Skyrim isn't gonna be worth touching until the new SKSE is fi ished and been updated to a point where it's functionally on par with the current SKSE.
Not to mention that the guys behind SkyUI are likely to NOT port it over and that means no MCM menu unless they give permissions to someone else up to the task of bringing it over.
No SKSE also means no HDT physics extension.
Once and IF Skyrim Special Edition gets to a point where it is functionally the same to Skyrim it WILL be almost decent.
With the added benefits of not using a workaround to increase it's RAM usage (better stability), VR (for more immersion while you watch yourself get raped by falmer).
I'm just glad I don't have to spend any money on it if and when all that happens.

Is it possible to do a full Legendary mode with any other class besides Stealth Archer or Full Tank Sword and Shield? I've done sections of the game on legendary in the past, but it seemed impossible without either hoping for stealth and a one shot kill or the extra defense that a shield and heavy armor provides. Adding onto this: Even if you do play on console with mods (TBA) nearly all of the best ones will be locked away due to lack of scripting function. Nearly every complex mod out currently relies on MCM, SKSE, and/or ENBoost.
Many armor mods rely on CBBE/UNP/Whateverthefuck body mods, which simply won't be allowed on BethNet - and any Animation mods require FNIS.
Unless Bethesda really steps up its game, using mods on consoles is just like swimming in the childrens pool - lacking any real depth, and likely full of piss.

It's about so much more than making it look pretty but fair enough. I guess I can't understand how someone could enjoy the game unmodded after playing it modded for so long.
