Good farming sim but the economy is broken way too early in comparison to the veterans (harvest moon and rune factory), since you can just use blueberries to get a million before the end of your first year. Also the dungeon crawling aspect is a bit unpolished and basically boils down to bomb everything and hoarding stone to making stairs instead of a progression. the dialogues are a bit lackluster but enjoyable

Hm64 is literally the second game in the series. It's the second-go after the SNES HM proved there was some merit to the formula, but they couldn't fulfill their vision. The game has good farming/upgrade loops, but the real meat of the game is in its atmosphere, aesthetic, music, and characters.
It's a very melancholic game beneath the surface. If you have any experience with rural life you'll understand.
PS1 BTN is a decent game but it's just repurposed game assets from HM64 assembled with a different creative team. The characters are shallower, and more anime-esc.
