What's always got me with Demon and Dark souls is the huge amount of time you'll spend just being in the air watching all the way down, doesn't help i got a big fear of height. I actually tried to smash things to try finding a secret door before 4kids despite the clues given by that old man. This entire area is a big NOPE, from the moment you walk in, and hear that loud sound of chains breaking telling you, something is coming. And Frankenstein does nothing to help.
However, the part for me that will always be traumatically indented in my memory, is the fenced square that you can run into for safety.
I remember doing that, and looking over to see those pitbulls bolting like missiles around you, from one end to the other, waiting for me to come out.
