I'm on xbone and I never really had issue with him. If idiots don't know how to handle them you switch to a sniper or Genji and take them out yourself. The opening of Gibraltar was hilarious for that because they would just plant their turrets right in view of the spawn room doors and I could just pop them all off and then shoot some radical dragons.
I think the people that whined about Toblerone were idiots who tried to run straight at the turret and try to damage race, or people upset that the turret was more accurate than them.
