Just got over the tutorial area. Gotta say I really wasn't impressed with the games feel.
Does it actually get better? Combat system feels weird as shit, and the animation is really bad.

Combat is just boring so I didn't play beyond the tutorial.

Mars War Logs was painfully mediocre. It made the X-Men game from Silicon Knights look like a masterpiece by comparison. It would be as ignorant a purchase as buying a Sony developed game and expecting it not to be a movie with button prompts.

I'm playing it and I'm enjoying the combat. With a bit of point in the staff and technomancer tree, combat become enjoyable and you start to feel powerfull.
Companions are a bit cliché, the only really bad one is Amelia, because she talk like a trumblr post.
I like Andrew and Scott remind me of Walter Bishop from Fringe.
Story is not bad but the transition from a chapter to another feel disjoint.
Side quest go to good to meh because they have a shitload of backtracking.
The Bestiary is good.
Overall it's a 6.5/10 game, it's for a niche and not for everyone. If you like the setting from Mars War logs give it a go.

It's not as comfy as Mars: War Logs. Not a big fan of the whole Mars factory look, although it was nicer in War Logs.
