Did you know that only one monster in the game doesn't have a level cap? Every monster in the game will stop leveling at a relatively low level. All but the shit that comes out of the aftershock quest missions, they'll always be set to 1.25x your level.

It's better than the other master spells, but that's not saying much. The biggest problem with it is the charge-up time and the fact that you can't move while casting it, so you need a lot of time and distance for it to be useful, and you usually don't have enough of either for it to be worthwhile. It's most useful against dragons, but only when they're far away, because you'll need your mobility once they get close enough to attack you.

Balance in Elder Scrolls games has always been shit.

It's Stealth Archer > Stealth warrior/Rogue > power gap > Warrior > power gap > Mage

The only recent Elder Scrolls games where magic has been useful are the ones where it was bugged and you could exploit it (of when you used mods to fix it, but even then it's never reached the usefulness of just hitting shit).

The magic system used in the Elder Scrolls games is just fundamentally broken.

A lot of bandits are Nords with 50% ice resistance, and a lot of monsters resist it as well. Lightning is the best all-purpose element because almost nothing resists it and it hits instantly.

Yeah, that sounds like a bug, or maybe it's more noticeable with ice because it's also supposed to slow enemies down. I never used the vanilla Impact perk, because I could tell how game breaking it was just from reading its description. The only real downside to warrior is that it can get boring doing the downwards jump attack but overall it holds up really well at lv180-200 with BBI gear. The hp growth also turns you into a fucking tank which makes it better than all the other paper classes.

The reason they made Magicka not regenerate is BECAUSE you can do all of that. You can also drain magicka from people, use the atronach sign which gives you spell absorption, or even use the Mark in the dungeon, Almsivi/Divine Intervention out, sleep, and then Recall back to the dungeon.
If you go the route of modding, I would recommend putting the regen at a very low value. Different mods have different speeds and sometimes it gets ridiculous.

Just get that one Dragon Priest hood that raises mana regen 100% and equip Archmage robes.

It makes the two hoods glitch into each other, but it gives you the highest magic boosts in Vanilla Skyrim as far as I know.

It's still the single tankiest class and in BBI that does help a tonne unless you just want to stand back and pelt arrows at enemies for an hour before you equip explosive arrows and cheese daimon before he can even do anything for end game loot. There's a reasonable argument to be made that warrior is less fleshed out late game than the hybrid classes which I'd agree with but just shitting on for these trivial asinine reasons is just being a faggot.

You keep saying that. But you don't need to do anything like that. Warrior is just weak. A Fighter can do more DPS than a Warrior on a Boss.
Mystic Knights ARE tankier because you can not only block ALL attacks, you can block spells, AND block AOE spells if you use the Shield Enchanting Magic.

There is no cheesing. For a Sorcerer, you simply enchant your staff with Holy then spam Charged Bolt. For a Assassin you can just spam Helm Splitter. No periapts, not explosive arrows.

The fact of the matter is, Warriors are piss weak in terms of every single other class.

Everything has it's own shtick really. The basic tier 1 perks for each weapon class:

>Sword: Reduce target's attack damage by 15% for 3 seconds on hit
>Daggers: Stackable bleed damage on living targets per hit for 30 seconds

I don't dislike the idea of level scaling so long as it's heavily reigned in.

For instance, having 90% of the world blocked off to me because I'll just get one shotted is a bit bleh, and also a bit confusing since if monsters were this strong outside of this one town/forest/city how the fuck do they not raze the rest of the cities to the ground? The guards as just as weak in level 70 Vampire Count summoning level 15 Skellingtons land as they are in level 3 Skeleton land, and they can barely beat a level 3 Skelington.

I still want of course for certain areas to be blocked off because it's too dangerous. Hence my heavily reigned in scaling preference.
Honestly I'd just like set levels, but with a random range of what said areas are set to. Say you start the game up, the game rolls for 3 nearby dungeons which start at level 5 but have a range of 3. So they could be scaled to level 2 at the lowest or level 8 at the highest. It adds to the sense of adventure as you don't know exactly how tough or easy this dungeon will be as a level 4 insertclasshere, and it also means the game doesn't play out exactly the same in repeated playthroughs.

Leveled quest rewards however are nonredeemable garbage 100% of the time.
Mostly the same with leveled drops. Daedric clad bandits were fuckin retarded. Drops should be scaled sure, but it should be within a restricted table. Bandits drop more gold the higher your level but on a 4-12 range at level 1 then 8-55 by level 20. And stop making wolves drop rings and gold that's dumb.
