Zelda fans are exactly like Final Fantasy fans, Call of Duty fans or fans of any massive series. They played it when they got into gaming (normally when they were younger) so they cannot accept any criticism of their beloved childhood and will buy the next game in the series in the vain hope it will be as good as their nostalgia tells them the games of their youth were.

Loved the game as a kid. Replayed it on an emulator today. It has its charm and is an important milestone in gaming history but anybody who claims that it is the best game ever is a nostalgia blinded tard.
