I wish they had just complete rebooted the main comic instead of doing a half-ass reboot.
Ever since Penders left it's been getting progressively better.
It's a crying shame we'll never see Scourge or any of the other actually interesting characters that were introduced during Penders run.
Honestly, with Sonic as of late, Everything but the games has been outstanding.

How do you fuck up this badly as a developer?
The comics are good, they've got PR down with the sonic twitter guy, the Sonic Boom cartoon was fairly well received last time I checked, and people like the comics.
They have everything they need to make one of the biggest and best video game franchises out there but they still manage to fuck everything up when it comes to making an actual game.

Scourge's whole gimmick is that he's Sonic but as a selfish asshole who wants to be more than just asshole Sonic. Shard -> Gemerl works because they have a similiar-ish backstory, but I doubt they can pull off Scourge -> Terios.

Mainly because regardless of what they could do Sega won't be consistent with the series, it's always SOMETHING new that completely changes the way the game's played from the previous one.
